When you use Chatline, we collect:
- Account information: Email address (if you register). Anonymous users have no personal data stored.
- Conversation data: Messages you send and receive, stored encrypted.
- Basic analytics: Page views and usage patterns via privacy-friendly analytics (no cookies, no personal data tracking).
2. How We Use Your Data
Your conversations are used only to provide the chat service. We do not train AI models on your chats. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
3. AI Model Providers
We use third-party AI model providers (OpenRouter, Anthropic, OpenAI) to generate responses. Conversation context is sent to these providers for response generation only and is not stored by them for training.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all billing data, tax collection, and invoicing. We do not store your payment details.
5. Data Storage
Your data is stored on servers in the European Union. Conversations are encrypted at rest and in transit.
6. Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings. Anonymous conversation data is automatically purged after 30 days.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication only. We use privacy-friendly analytics — no cookies, no personal data tracking.
